How to test the bonding strength of epoxy sealant?

1. Ultrasonic flaw detector can be used for detection

Using the principle of ultrasonic waves, the viscosity of epoxy sealant is detected, and the adhesive and bonding surface are inspected for the presence of bubbles or gaps. If there is, ultrasound will reflect back.

2. Using acoustic resistance testing method for detection

Use an anti acoustic impedance instrument to detect the resistance of the bonding surface. If there are defects, the impedance will quickly decrease.

If you want to better detect the viscosity of epoxy sealant, you usually use the above two methods. If you don't have the equipment and conditions to detect it, you can directly ask the buyer what the viscosity of the epoxy sealant you are using is, which is more convenient and straightforward.
